We at Diamat always have the perfect knives for every sheet thickness and application with our corresponding roll slitter machines. Our plastic slitter machines are famous for their durability. We only use knives from certified knife manufacturers, which results in an extremely long lifetime. Our plastic slitter machines work perfectly with our plastics extruders, calendering units and winding machines. However, they can also be retrofitted into other extrusion lines or combined with our winding machines to form a slitter-rewinder machine.

Extrudable plastics

Our plastic extruder machines can mix components to the gram and melt them at exactly the right temperature.

Therefore our plastic extruders are able to extrude a large variety of plastics including:

  • polypropylene (PP)
  • polyethylene (PE, also known as polyethene or polymethylene)
  • high-density polyethylene (PE-HD)
  • polyurethane (PU or PUR)
  • thermoplastic polyurethane (TUR)
