A system of different degassing sections provides the necessary material drying and deep cleaning required for food contact certification. The cascade structure ensures a large surface area of the melt, which allows the diffusion and dissolution of the volatile components and at the same time allows sufficient time for the plastics to remain in the extruder. At the same time, the space required by the system is kept as small as possible. An unbeatable advantage. In principle, the system can be integrated into all diamat extrusion lines.

Even with food contact certification, A-PET films are usually co-extruded into an ABA sandwich combination.
This usually involves co-extruding layers of 3 to 10% on top of the main layer. These layers are used to incorporate anti-blocking agents, which are generally dosed into the co-extruder in the form of master batches. For cost reasons, colours are also dosed and used on the co-extruder.
